Grand Bahamas

Grand Bahamas is a great place if you've never visited! It's our first time, so we''ve taken a few days to get accustomed to driving on the left, eating conch and absorbing the beauty. My 16 yr. old son and I have been spending most of our time underwater, geting our PADI Open Water Certification. Our excellent Dive Master Nick made it fun, exciting and easy. If you are heading this way, I would highly recommend Sunn Odyssey. We finished that today and it was such a RUSH seeing the beautiful underwater world. I see an underwater camera in my equipment bag in the near future. 

Here are just a few stock images I captured this morning enjoying the amazing rainbow and aqua colors of the atlantic.

Studio closed until July 14

We will be on our annual stock photography quest from June 29 and returning July 14. This year we are traveling to the Grand Bahamas and look forward to some great sunrises, sunsets and turquoise water! Check back as I will hopefully be posting some of our favorites!

Its been quite windy lately...

We lost part of our great pecan tree yesterday. It could be one of the oldest pecan trees in Nacogdoches as its HUGE! We are so glad that no one was injured as the limb that fell was quite large as well. Thanks Daniel and Papaw for helping get this cleaned up. As you can see it fell right across the drive.

Linda Yezak—On Pictures and Paralysis

Each week is always new and exciting. I especially love meeting new people and hearing their story of what brought them to East Texas and eventually to our Studio in Nacogdoches.

Last week Linda Yezak dropped by in need of a photo. Come to find out that Linda has written a Christian fiction book and thus the need for the portrait. Just wanted to say what a pleasure to meet her and hear how God is working in her life!

Class of 2008- NHS Nathan N.

We offer the most variety of all East Texas portrait studios when it comes to session options and even all the great products.

Nathan wanted something a bit different, but personalized. We ended up photographing at his home where we were able to bring in some great elements, especially his dog. Thanks Nathan for a great session!

2yr old Jaxon

Jaxon came in today for his two year portrait session. My how time flies by. It just seems like yesterday that they came in for his newborn session.

We had a great time allowing Jaxon to explore our house and garden. He especially liked the "red truck" that drove by while photographing on our Victorian porch.

Watch out Tiger Woods, as Jaxon has picked up the game of golf. I was amazed that he hit the ball 9 times out of 10. And what form!!!

Shane & Kylie, thank you for sharing this special time in his life with us, even if only for a moment. He really did make our day!
